Plasma proteomics (SomaScan 7K)

SomaScan 7K measured about 7,000 proteins in baseline plasma from 422 participants. This first release shares the 24 proteins most associated with diagnosis, in relative fluorescence units (RFU) after the vendor’s standard normalisation. The full panel is planned for v2.

• docs/protein_annotations.csv: UniProt id, the system each protein comes from, and its direction in Alzheimer’s disease.
• analysis/differential_abundance.ipynb: a notebook comparing AD and HC, with the code that chose the 24 proteins.

Proteins are named by gene symbol in lower case (nefl, gfap, …).
